Key Team Members

Dr. Buko brings with him over 40 years of pharmaceutical experience with the FDA, Abbott Labs, and most recently with Biogen, Idec where he held the position of Senior Director of Translational Medicine. Alex has successfully led large scale omics projects in neurology, immunology, and oncology. With extensive experience in protein and metabolite based profiling, Alex leads project management and development of HMT’s biomarker-based platforms.

Gina Johnson is a biologist with a strong background is ecology, evolution, and animal behavior. Her thesis work focused on the animal microbiome and how specific groups of microbes may influence life history traits and phenotypes. Gina also brings skills in bioinformatic and statistical analysis, along with three years of teaching experience. She is a scientific project coordinator here at HMT and aids clients in data analysis and exploration.

Parinda (Pari) is a seasoned scientist specializing in oncology R&D, metabolomics, and stem cell research. Driven by a profound passion for translational research, he brings extensive experience from academic and pharmaceutical collaborations. Pari's prior work includes investigating therapy resistance in breast cancer and developing stem cell therapies for lung diseases. At HMT, he supports researchers in project development and data analysis, advancing scientific endeavors with dedication and expertise.
